FAQs

What types of records do you send?

Upon ordering, you must select at least 2 decades and 2 genres. Our decades include the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. For genres, we offer rock, jazz, blues, R&B, pop, reggae, folk, disco, soul, and country. Our checkout process includes a text box where you can type some additional information on your preferences (such as artist you like or maybe artists you do not like). Some decade/genre combinations are harder to accommodate than others, but we try our very best to send you records you love every month! We encourage our listeners to be broad and open when choosing their preferences so that they can discover some new music!

We do not offer punk rock and hip-hop records, or any post-1990's records.

Metal is also limited.

What condition are the records in?

These are not brand new albums and we cannot guarantee a certain condition. However, on average, our records vary between VG and VG+ and contain normal wear and tear, but play great with minimal scratches and skips. We inspect and listen to every record we send out and anything that does not meet our standards will not be sent to our customers.

VG+ - Shows signs of wear, light scuffs or scratches may be present but they should not affect playback significantly. Nothing felt by fingernail.  Jacket may have a 3-4 of the following: ring wear, shelf wear, seam splits (less than 1” long), writing, creases, discoloration, names, stickers, notch/corner cuts . Labels may also have a few of the following: writing/names, stickers, some spindle marks.

VG - These records show more obvious signs of wear and handling. Record has surface noise that is noticeable in some spots but perhaps is quiet and clean in other spots. Clicks and pops may be heard, especially during a song’s intro/outro. Some of the scratches can be felt with a fingernail. The jacket can have more pronounced ring wear, shelf wear, stickers, marks, staining, seam splits on any or all 3 sides but they are still fairly intact, writing, cuts, and discoloration. Record Labels may have writing, names, stickers, and can have spindle marks.

Our curators do not send anything out that we would not want in our personal collection.

How long until I receive my records?

Once we get your order we begin curating your records almost immediately. The curation process usually takes anywhere from a few days to a week. Once your package is shipped, it usually takes 3-8 days to arrive. You will get tracking information on your records so you can see where they are and when they will get to you. Once they arrive, they are yours to keep!

What if I want to cancel?

Although we would love to keep sending you great music, you can cancel your subscription at any time.
